I'm leaving everything up here and might check back occasionally but I'm a photographer, and flickr is for the website for me. (also I have a blog and a tumblr it seems silly to have so many platforms that do the same things...)

Well, Last night was our year 13 A-Level Art Exhibition at my School (College/Sixth Form). My work from this year went up, my surrealist work and my 3D images.
It went well and lots of people were looking at my work (which was great!) I had to Explain a lot of it though since people wanted to know how 3D photos are made, they seem to think it's some really expensive new kind of concept but really it's not, anaglyphs are actually older than photography (i think) some guy in the mid 1800's did some simple perspective line drawings one in blue one in red on top of each other and using red and blue glasses your brain can see depth within them.

I really suck at writing and explaining things... Basically it went well and many people freaked at 's little corner of doom aha

It is so beautiful I can't wait to use it oh god where do i start.
It's a Nishika N8000, It has four lenses and takes 3D images, well okay it takes 2D images but it takes 4 at once. which can be used to make a 3D image by sending it off to get processed into a hologram card thing, but I don't think the company still exists, see it's from the 80's, It's actually time travelled to me and had never even been opened until it came into my hands. it stinks of muskiness and old and damp and storage. I plan on using it in my Photography as my project is called distortion and 3D is a distortion of the eyes. anyway, since I don't think the company who create the hologram cards exists any more I will be processing the film and printing the images myself in the darkroom then scanning them in to turn into an animated gif. I might just scan the negatives in and work straight from that but I think printing them will also enable me to display the images on their own. I might expose them onto huge paper as the contact sheet type feel to the 4 images obtained is quite interesting.
